lately

In the moment we are busy in the house. We wanted to change our kitchen for a long time. There will be some photos but first we have to come up with some more ideas.

Also we are planning a trip to the UK soon. Always good to see friends and family.

The weather is still amazing so I managed to make a trip to the beach but also to the wool shop. Really in the mood to make some nice and cozy scarfs.

Hope your week is going well,
Kay

PS: love Pedlars.

that kind of crazy weekend

"It's that quirky kind of weekend feeling they write ridiculous sunny-day songs about. You know the ones--I'm sure they're on your iPod even though you'd never admit it.”

Quote by Neal Shusterman

Fine weekend,
Kay

Had a nice visit from the mailman today. My friend Sally sent me the book from Derek Jarman's garden. We visited Derek's garden many times, so I was delighted when I got the book. A must have for garden lovers.

A gift from my garden.

Cathrineholm

A classic Scandinavian design by Cathrineholm. Beautiful enamel teapot with the classic lotus design. The pattern was designed by Arne Clausen a decorator working for Cathrineholm in the 60s.

My little collection is growing and I just love the mid modern look, which looks so nice in our home.

Also I had a good day vinyl hunting on the weekend. I did buy far more records then Mister Kay... one of my favs Charlos Lee.

See you soon,
Kay

PS: for my office I got some nice paper goodies from Bindewerk.

soul

Our first week being back at school and work went surprisingly smooth and well... still not easy to get up at 6:15 but we are getting there. It was wonderful to see that most of my girl friends are back in town, yeah.

Off vintage hunting this weekend and I guess a visit to the record shop is also on our list. We brought back some nice vinyl from the UK. Really getting in to soul music .

Enjoy a fine little weekend.
Any plans?

See you,
Kay

PS: thinking of getting some vintage nautical cushions from Zoe's shop. They will keep me happy in the winter.

Indian Summer

September started with some warm and wonderful days. Let's hope there will be some more sun in the next couple of weeks. Today was my first day at home alone. That was really strange but also nice.

Last weekend we got some driftwood and I hope Mister Kay will have some time to visit his workshop again soon.

Hope your week is going well. I was a bit clumsy a couple of days ago and broke my
new phone... stupid me.

enjoy the rest of the week,
Kay
