pine cones and glitter

The house is very much like a portrait, the thought of arrangement, the curves and straight lines. It gives an indication of the character at the heart of it.

- Christian Louboutin -

Spent all afternoon pottering around the house. Very much in an early Christmas mood this year. Feel like lots of fairy lights, pine cones and some glitter. I will visit the Christmas market this weekend and then I start, lol.

see you,
Kay

PS: Kubus by Lassen would be a really nice Christmas gift.

paper love from the Hema

This year I'm so in the mood of hosting a little Christmas party for some of my girlfriends.

Yesterday I saw these large paper Christmas ornaments in the Hema. Just had to get them. Not sure what I'll do with them but they do look pretty Christmas groovy.

Enjoy your Sunday,
Kay

PS: we love Paperchase.

A day full of Joy

A day full of Joy.

We had a smashing day at the seaside. Lots of fresh air, great fish and chips, a little bit of shopping and some driftwood hunting. I've always felt happiest near the sea. If I want to get away from daily life and co I head to the coast.

Enjoy the rest of the week,
Kay

PS: this weekend in Amsterdam International Jewellery Art Fair

Ottomania

I wrote about Ottomania before a couple of years ago, but I just realised that Ottomania is the prettiest shops I know and I tell you I visited a lot of shops the last years.

When I visit the shop it always makes me feel like Alice in Wonderland,is full of treasures and beautiful colors.

Is there a shop you really love? Please tell me about it or send me a link.

Fine weekend,
Kay

PS: I want, I want the new book from Elizabeth Dunker, Fine Little Day.
