Hippie Summer

This summer we love things in our hair

Thinking of moving in to the Greenhouse.
It's nice and warm there.
The cats started to live there already.

Really in to scented pelargoniums.
My collecting is growing.

We had a good weekend. One of my highlights was a dinner on Friday night in Marits huiskamerrestaurant with some friends .The food was amazing and the company was wonderful. A perfect summer evening.

see you,
Kay

PS: reading The Seamstress by Maria Duenas
and watching the White Queen on BBC1

Foekje Fleur

A couple of weeks ago I specially went to Den Haag to finally meet Foekje Fleur. I have been collecting her fantastic porcelain bottles for nearly a year now. Her work is so easy to mix with our vintage style. Foekje just had her new collection of handmade dinnerware out.

enjoy your weekend,
Kay

PS: I love Hello Marine

The Proud Otter

The Proud Otter is a wonderful small Cafe at de Pijp, a district in central Amsterdam. They have amazing organic food and good coffee.

The cafe is located at the Gerard Doustraat, a buzzing street with lots of cool shops very close to the Alber Cuyp Street Market.

see you there,
Kay

PS: I love Eva's Badespass
and the cool bag (see last photo).
I wonder where you can buy that one.

I'm here

Got back  home today with bags full of pineapple and watermelons. Most of the evenings we are in the garden till 11 o'clock. At the last flea market we found some
vintage garden fairy light for a pound, that looks so pretty  at night time.

see you soon and make sure you stay cool,
Kay

PS: Five more weeks to go before our summer holidays starts, so if you have some reading ideas for the  holidays... love to hear them.

This is your kingdom, nice place to be.

Sunday delight

A new print for Mister Kay's collection

Powder Blue is my fav color in the moment. I'm delighted with my new little vintage tea light. I think is quite a old one.

Our weekend went so fast again and there is still so much
to do. How did you spend your weekend?

see you,
Kay

PS: Still trying to work out where we are going on holiday this summer. Copenhagen and Norfolk are very high on my wishing list.
