This week I should be in the garden. It's time to bring some of our plants in to the greenhouse and all the vintage furniture should go in to the shed.

But then I just got the new Frankie. Nice to see Anke Weckermann's work on the cover. So I'm sitting here and reading.

Ben Dickson

Elvis , Johnny Cash, Harry Hills and Morrissey... all my kind of icons. Ben Dickson's linocuts are amazing and pretty cool. I have seen his work in restaurants and in my friends houses. A couple of weeks ago I finally had a change to meet the man behind this art.

His work is totally my cup of tea. I just wonder which icon  he will do next. My personal favorite is Harry Palmer.

In the last couple of weeks  I changed the color of my cupboard about 3 times. After driving my family and my friend Veerle crazy I finally decided that Inox from Little Greene is my color. Now I'm sitting here having coffee and enjoying my home.

cozy weekend

Ready for  a cozy weekend. Looking forward to vintage hunting on Saturday morning and a little beach walk later in the afternoon.

• Just finished reading the Seamstress by Maria Duenas, which I really enjoyed.
• I'm addicted to Gin Gins (hope I can find them here in the Netherlands).
• Every morning I'm in the Gym (just love sports).
• Drinking Elderflower cordial.
• Stef Bos... love this voice.
• Really want to see Kazimir Malevich.
