weekend...weekend

I had some amazing vintage swaps the last couple of weeks. Today I got this wonderful Elac RD100 alarm clock. I saw it last year at the Plastic World exhibiting. This one will live from now on in my living room.

Swapping is really big here. It is nice to see that my girl friends are getting in to it.
So there is a lot of daily life swapping going on here... from books to art.

Do you swap??

enjoy your weekend

We want to be modern

A couple of weeks ago we went to see the exhibition "We want to be modern" at the MMK museum in Arnhem. The exhibition is about polish design from 1955 to 1968  from the Collection of the National Museum in Warsaw. Featuring some amazing pieces of pottery and fabric.

Some of my blogger friends went to see the exhibition last year in Warschau and they also loved it.
Not sure which museum will show the exibition next but if it's in your area it's definitely worth paying a visit.

Check out this article from Designboom.

see you
Kay

PS: I love in the moment
- my green trousers
- the German Collection from OPI ( not sure which color I like most)
- Dahlias
- apples
- song of the day David Bowie Let's Dance

record player Lesa Mady 2

We got a new record player on the weekend.

It is the Mady 2, a little portable player designed and produced in 1975 by an Italian company called Lesa. The recordplayer is battery operated so I can carry it around playing my favourite rock & roll where ever I go.

How is your week going??

see you
Kay
