corner view cityscapes

this week theme is city landscapes or cityscapes ....
There are no mountains or hills in the Netherlands and there isn't much of a skyline, which makes Amsterdam feel more like an oversized village
guess that's why I love Amsterdam
want to know more about cityscapes..spaindaily

You're right about the oversized village feel of Amsterdam, but as a city on the water it has one of the best scapes, I think!

Do you know that I put in the hallway of my house a very large photo of Amsterdam in black and white ... I know this city only thanks to a poster but hope to go one days !

You know, I distinctly recall coming across a small picturesque bump-ette somewhere close to Wageningen once. The Dutch boyfriend drove over it a few times in an effort to convince me of the faint slope...

Love that first photo, too! Like Amsterdam, Toronto has no hills or mountains to speak of!

Wat mooi in beeld gebracht! Hier op dit plekje is het net zo vlak als in Nederland! Fijne avond.

Your bright colored umbrellas look like the brand of ice cream, which is called Langnese here... is it the same?

Love the photo on the water.

Amsterdam was the first foreign city I ever visited. It's such a nice place, I should make a return visit.
