corner view 'coffee'

some secrets about my coffee love
- my dad did work for a coffee company for over 25 years
-I love the smell of coffee( thinking of my dad)
-only drink cappucino
-never drink coffee alone at home, only water
-I do drink coffee alone in the city
-'gezellig samen koffie drinken'....'gezellig' is one of the those words the Dutch use all the time. The dictionary says:'cosy, but that doesn't really cover its meaning and FEELING .. English speakers will not normally say that a cup of coffee is cosy, wheras the Dutch repeat this ad nauseam
enjoy your coffee and you can find more coffee love at spain daily

The Dutch drink some of the finest coffee in the world. Did your dad work for a Dutch coffee company?

I would have to say that the color of your cups would be one of my favorite shades of green... lovely. The story of your dad sheds a little light on your love for coffee... nice.

Ja, idd "gezellig". Dat woord bestaat alleen in het Nederlands. Als ik "gezellig" in het duits wil zeggen, zeg ik het gewoon in het nederlands. :)

Like you, I love to drink water. That....and coffee.
And being Dutch....I think it is the summum of ´gezellig´ to have it with friends or my parents. ;)
The Germans don´t have a word for it too...but now like Nicky I just say gezellig! and they now what I mean....I think.
And....are you enjoying your long weekend?

The first picture - it looks delicious. The sound of a working coffee machine makes me think of my father. I loved to read your post.
