Love the coffee cart shot! I try to buy as locally as I can too, it makes for a very satisfying shopping experience : )

Whitstable (?) looks lovely, I really want to go there. Frank looked promising. Did you make it to a carboot sale?

I love my local shops, so much nicer than going to the big shops. And we have a milkman too, I even found one of those milk bottle carriers for our front step in a junk shop recently!

I love British oysters. They are small, but much tastier than the Pacific oysters. Those oyster beds were originally planted by Roman soldiers and amazingly they've survived ever since.

Sorry if I'm MIA at your blog. In Marrakech right now and wifi is extremely slow.

Anyway, what a coincidence! I just posted about Paris shopping myself! Mostly clothes shopping, though.

Looks like you had lots of fun during your holiday.
We visited Whitstable a few years ago while visiting Mark´s father. One of my favorite places in Kent!
Can´t wait to see what you bought at the carboot sales.

Glad you're back... I love the idea of shopping local. My husband's parents live out in the country and they always get their eggs, honey, and the most delicious cheeses and wurst locally. Yum!

By the way... did you see my chair?

I really like the third picture!
does he sell good coffee?!
and does he has a steady place or does he change all the time so you have to go and find him?!
;-)

I try to support small shops as well. it makes me sad there are more and more less of them...

I love the picture of the coffee cart. And I like that you support the small local shops - I think it makes shopping personable and that's great.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful corner.

This is so nice. I have saw one "corner view shopping" before today and I must say that it is wonderful that you share your corners with us.

I didn't know that there is still milk men.

How did I miss you on this visit again1? Hope you found some great boot fairs. We are coming to Holland soon, just near Amsterdam, we must meet up then. And lucky you that your hubby does the supermarket shop, tell him he gets 10 gold stars!

If everything painted on the front of Frank is what they carry inside, I would love exploring their shelves! I really like old fashion general stores and hardware stores.
That looks like such a nice seaside town!

So, is this Kent? I see that you must enjoy shopping in such a place. Now I am sorry I didn't take more care about this corner view and didn't take similar lovely pictures too!

That sounds so great. I buy all my grocerys at the supermarket. There is no special place to buy milk. I really hate this closing of all the small shops and the big malls.

These shops look great! Hehe.... MP has to do the big grocery shopping too. I wish we had more small shops here. Bread yes, but veggies no. Soon the Farmer's markets will open though! :)
