corner view  this week ''repurposed''

got some vintage sewing yarn on the weekend,
in the moment it's just beautiful vintage for me, but one day
I will give it to some of my friends and the will make
beautiful THINGS....

I love the thread in the tin box. I bit the previous owner created beautiful things with her hands for her family and friends, with this thread. Your wonderful thread would go perfect with my little sewing stand today. xo

Wood spools make me nostalgic for a time before I existed. We still had the occasional wood spool at my parents house, they always made me so happy!

oh, that is beautiful! i have dozens of wooden thread spools from my grandmothers sewing basket (all from 40s/50s). i can't wait to make things with them. love the wood and stamps.
