Every time I visit my friend Shelly's amazing home I realize how much I like the way she has been playing with colors. Her black walls look so elegant and make her home feel very cozy. I brought back some paint for our living room but we are not ready for a dark home yet (I hope one day...).
At the moment there are a couple of new and very interesting interior books out.
Just got myself a copy of Abigail Ahern.
Also on my list Vintage Home by Pearl Lowe.

I almost did a dark, dark charcoal (almost black) wall in my new house, but I lost my nerve. It takes time to build up your courage for a wall like that, doesn't it?
