so pretty
The 'Homemaker' range of tablewear , designed in 1957 by Enid Seeney for Ridgway Potteries Ltd , was once made for the masses and sold cheaply by Woolworths
50 years later..the stylish black and white Homemaker is a great one to collect

that is such a cool collectible plate, great! a while ago, friends of mine gave me a lovely 1950s dish - black with a abstract pattern on it - which i love. still dream of owning a stig lindberg coffee/tea set one day... ceramics are just fabulous, aren't they?!
p.s.: thanks so much for mentioning my berlin blog here! hope you can come to berlin soon - we could meet up for a coffee! :)
As always, a lovely collection, but I expected nothing less. I just noticed your shop on the sidebar... and then I noticed mine... thank you!
I would imagine that one would definitely have to drive through Hamburg on the way to Berlin.
I love it! This is so cool. Don't you love when you come across the perfect treasure? Enjoy! xoxo
Excellent find Kay!
Vintage finds from the early to mid 50's are my favorites! Of course your plate being in the later 50's gets into some of the greatness of the 60's!!
Jolies trouvailles !
You know, I'd never noticed your shop! It's interesting to observe the fate of objects, this one had a good one: from masses to collectibles!
it's really nice! love the black and white.
My grandma had plants in her conservatory sitting on those plates ! Now my mum has rescued them. She also found the teapot. They're so cool.
There is something very familiar in the first picture. I just can't get it. Maybe that orange scale??
Black and white. Always as charming. I love the plate.
Have a nice weekend!
Love the plate!
