Dear Kay, I am sending you evening sun and warm thoughts. How sad that while everything starts blooming and growing, your friend has gone. A warm hug to you, looking forward to a vernal breeze in Amsterdam and a cup of tea with you!

Sorry about your friend Kay, that is very sad. Love your pictures and am so inspired by your garden and love of flowers that I'm thinking about trying bulb forcing. No place for a garden when you are on the upper level of a condomium building, but I do love flowers in the house so hopefully this will work. I received my mug this week and it is beautiful. Thanks again.

Sorry about the loss of your friend. Sounds like you were looking at the bigger picture though and still had a moment or two for little joys. Good for you. I too have a little bit of an addiction to old cook books.
