a little bit of vintage

A 1976 Japanese Casio calculator. Guess we all had one of these. Still got yours?

We decided to collect simply the covers we really like( this one is so cute)

Mr. Kay goes Hopper.

my idea for 2010
is to get out more( museums, theater and concerts), it's just to tempting to stay at home with a big box of chocolates

Thanks for nominating me at the homies 2009, that made me happy.

I'm with Mr K on going Hopper. That's such a beautiful work. It's inspired me to look deeper and invesitgate. :) and I'm with you on getting out more - chocolates, and indoors are so tempting and too easy! In my case, too much home made baked ricotta cheesecake. my god! soooo yummy! ha ha.

Congratulations, Kay, I had no idea about the nomination (I tried to leave a favorite vote moments ago, but it said they're closed now). We made the same resolution about museums, and are also planning on trip to Milan to see Hopper (honestly! he must be the artist of the moment). How's your daughter doing, has she recovered completely?

Ah - that Casio brings back memories of the days when a portable calculator was $300! What a time!

Yes I've still got mine and it works very well. I love the photograph of the Hopper and window shopper. I gave my husband the gift of going out more, for Christmas, we've got rather stuck indoors.

Am envious that you can see a Hopper exhibition, that probobly won't happen near my house. But who knows what the future might bring:) Going out more, definately.
