More Than Fat Lava

More Than Fat Lava

You either hate them or you love them...  At the moment there is a wonderful West German pottery aka 'Fat Lava' exhibition on in Amsterdam.

Emiel from Retrominded has put a lot of work in the exhibiton and I tell you it is defently worth to have a look. The address is M.V. Bouwdijk Bastiaansestraat 15 in Amsterdam and you better hurry because it ends next weekend.

I love pottery and especially those on the bottom. They remind me of Rookwood and Roseville pottery from Ohio where I'm from (there were a lot of German settlers there originally!).

I went to the opening of this, it was fab! Mark Hill was there to give an introduction, along with Kevin Graham (the other organiser along with Emiel), and lots of people from the West German Pottery world. Really is worth a visit. Glad you enjoyed it so much! Emma
