Like Elvis Presley and James Dean my dad wore the Pompadour. So I was delighted when I got Rock 'n' Hair, a great book about vintage hairstyles for everyday.
I have been struggling to maintain my rockabilly look on a daily base but in the book are some great & easy step-by-step instructions (nice Christmas gift).

It looks like fun book. My T has a pompadoer too, but it doesn't take him much time. I would love a fifties do for myself too, but I'm just no good at doing my own hair.

I wish I could have bangs like that-I try, but they curl up-not so cute. When I was in high school I short on one side, shoulder length on the other-that's as close to rock n roll as I could get! Very 80s, though.
