Queen's day

Queen's day (celebrates the birthday of the Queen of the Netherlands) is my fav day of the year
but not this year ,there was an attempt at the lives of the Royal Family.
so sad....................sad....crazy world

I'm one of the rare species without a driver's license..so walking,lot's of cycling ,plane and the train that's me.The flat-landscaped Netherlands it's a great place to cycle...( the place for cycle holiday,lol)

Two posts in one day? That doesn't happen very often but Allison gave me such an interesting response to my previous post that I felt I had to share it.

Allison, I tell you I love that juice pitcher of yours!! I guess I have to learn more about american pottery, especially from the 30's.

Also Amy mentioned McCoy and Roseville. I'm gonna check them out right away.

breakfast is heaven for me...every friday I will go out for breakfast... most of the time to Leiden or Amsterdam
on the weekend is more like a family brunch ( lot's of quality time,lol)
I'm freelance so the rest from the week I will have breakfast alone at home(that sound silly,lol)
and after 14 years in the Netherlands I still don't like the bread here, so I try to have breakfast without bread

best buy of the day a 1950 bamboo garden bench at the flea market this morning..you can still find vintage bamboo furniture for a good price in the moment....
I really enjoy desire to inspire from Jo&Kim, an Australian and a Canadian trying to inspire the world( one room at the time)

guess the Dutch like pudding and sometime you can find some vintage pudding molds at the flea market, love them when the come in pastel colors

I bet sweet paul can make great pudding
also I really want to see 'the boat that rocked'
