Advent time

Wishing you all a nice calm first Advent.

We will get our tree next weekend but there are already lots of candles in the house. I also sent my first Christmas gifts via snail mail, so doing not so bad this year.

Looking forward to go out with my girlfriends and meeting up with people before Christmas.

Enjoy life,
Kay

sunset hunter

Guess you can call me a sunset hunter. The last couple of weeks I spent lots of time trying out my new Nikon camera. Everywhere I go I see beautiful sunsets.

Enjoy your weekend,
Kay

busy bee

Finally I feel a lot better, still have to take it easy but I must say that it's going well.

In the UK we got lots of wall paint and Mister Kay is busy painting the hall this weekend. There is a lot more on his list, Nila's room, our bedroom and then the office.

Looking forward to start with the Christmas decorating... soon some new photos from our home.

Enjoy your Sunday,
Kay

PS: reading the girl in the spiderweb by David Lagercrantz.

Heather Mathieson

We went to visit Heather Mathieson at her studio a couple of weeks ago. Heather is a lovely person and I really love her work. It's wonderful to see her growing and I wonder what she will make in a couple of years.

Fine week,
Kay

restless

Hello There,

Guess it was the first time that my little blog was silent for a couple of weeks. When I got home from our trip to the UK I got very sick and it took me more than 2 weeks to recover. There was me thinking I was super healthy and living a really good life. There is still time to learn a lot about life.

Now finally started to feel better. Still have to take it easy but I feel a lot better. I want to say thank you to all the nice people out there, who called me, smsed and mailed me. That really meant a lot.

Look after yourself,
Kay

PS: The photos are from my favorite car boot sale in Kent. I was so lucky to find my second print from Tretchikoff. This one is called 'The Chinese Girl'.
