My week started with some sad news... but there are lots of very positive things happening here as well at the moment. That make these long grey days easier to survive.
Hope you all doing well,
Kay
PS: has anybody seen Brakig, the new cool Ikea collection in the shops yet??
I noticed I'm not very good with vintage clothes. Only very rarely I find a nice piece. But it's easy for me to find a cool vintage accessory, like a bag or a scarf.
What about you guys? Do you wear vintage clothes? Or do you swap clothes with your girl friends?
Today I saw this interesting collection of vintage planters in town. Not sure what the owner did with them. It looks like he gave them a makeover with false eyelashes...
Weekend - this week I spent lots of time record hunting. There is a nice record shop called Wax Well. I always find some nice records there. This week I brought home Agnes Obel and Etta James.
I love rainy days in Amsterdam.
Always nice to go to see the friendly girls at Suhka.
Treat yourself... with some good coffee & cake.
Look for some more wool at Weldraad.
walking... talking...
I have been searching for such a long time to find Minnie Riperton's album Perfect Angel on vinyl, so hard to find! So I was chuffed to find it in my local charity shop (very close to home).
Love hearing about good charity shop finds. Send me a link or photos.
Went to Haarlem yesterday to visit my friend. On the way I did some shopping...
New trainers. Noticed I do about a year with a pair of trainers but then I sport everyday. A greenish blue top whith a touch of glitter... I wanted one of them for a long time. Got this one in Durf.
I just started a new book and also I'm trying to finish my blue scarf. Also on my list a long walk with the family. Hope you got some nice plans.
A trip to Delft was on my list for a long time. I really wanted to visit the Femkeido Shop.
What a cute little shop. Full of design treasure. Love the forest wallpaper (see photo number 3) on the shop wall. Also it was really nice to meet Merel, one of the owners, a very friendly and cheerful person.
