half-term mood
house music
Mister kay got Nila a vintage Yamaha keyboard.
She loves it and Mister kay also.
There is lot of noise in my hous in the moment,
guess they should take some classes.lol
My friend Aneta sent me some postcards from
the National Museum in Warsaw. They got an exhibition on Polish Design&Chairs from between 1955 and 1968. Looks so good, have a look at PIA's stories. Very much my kind of exhibition.
I would love to visit Warsaw one day.

books, books and more books
I love spending time in bookstores,
enjoy browsing and discovering new titles and authors.
If they would sell coffee I could easily spend a whole day there, lol.
The bookstore from Erik Tonen in Antwerpen
has a fantastic selection on art & design books.
I always find a new book there on vintage ceramic.
Spending lots of time in Whistable and Leiden I also have fav bookstores there.
Do you have a fav bookstore?
- Thinking about my friends and bloggers in NZ, I was really shocked to hear about the Kiwi Quake.
- Half-term is keeping me busy, Nila getting up at 6 in the morning and Mister kay being a night person, I tell you I'm tired!
- My friend Shelly is coming over on the weekend, that will be fun.

little corner
I have been in love with the Dandelion Clocks wallpaper
from Sanderson for a while.
I have one corner in my living room and I'm sure it would look
wonderful there.
Mister Kay likes the red one and I like the green one on the top photo.
Sanderson also has a new cool fifties inspired collection of wallpaper and fabric out. The Mobiles one would look great on an office wall.
I will order some samples. If you live in the UK it will be quite easy to find a shop that sells them. In the Netherlands there is a shop called De Mooiste Muren in Haarlem that sells them.

daytime & nighttime
Orange Slice from Artifort
In the daytime this is my place to read
(early in the morning with the news paper).
But after 20:00 the chair swaps its owner ...
It turns in to Mister kay's TV chair.
Guess it's time again to ask... What you are reading at the moment? I would love to know, once you start a book do you finish it no matter what? Sometimes I keep a book that I have been unable to finish for years.
- Masterchef is back
- Frugavore the book from Arabella Forge is a must have
