going on a drive

 

When I was young we often just went for a drive purely for fun. Singing along to the radio.

 

Earlier today we went for a drive. It's Nila birthday today and her little wish was going for a drive. Its great fun just to get in the car and drive with nowhere in mind.

We have a to-do list for Easter Monday but I guess we will take it easy and do sweet things.

On the weekend at the flea market I managed to find a vintage carpet  for my terrace.
How you can see Elvis was very pleased with it,yeah.

Started the week with a trip to the GYM, I really missed that the last couple of weeks.

Cantucci

This morning my friend Caterina was teaching me how to make Cantucci, that's what they are called in Italy. Guess in the UK we would call them Apricot and almond biscotti with limoncello. Really easy to make and they taste yummy.

It's time to have a little party with my girl friends... so I can make some more.

Our home is empty and calm in the moment. The rest of my cat family are hanging around the house to keep me company, they can be so sweet.

Mister Kay did some framing for me, that means some more prints can go on the wall (which made me happy).

I think I will order a pair of socks. They are so beautiful.

Fifty

Fifty our cat of 20 years passed away this morning. She was a big Mister Kay fan and always waited for him to come home.

My fav time of spring is when the Cadillacs and Petticoats come out of the winter storage. Growing up with a rockabilly father I just love the 50s and 60s.

After a flea market in the morning I visited a vintage beauty fair. Most of the visitors made an effort and showed up in the most amazing outfits.

Really looking forward to the Rock 'n Roll D-Day in June here in Amsterdam.

I think is from a dutch pottery company.
