Fine little day at the flea market in Germany. The weather was great and the market was really busy.We managed to find some good vinyl, some vintage pottery and a nice blouse.

We went to the record store tonight to pick up some music for the holidays. It was Nila's turn so we came home with  The Covers Record by Cat Power.

A couple of days ago Mister Kay brought home a vintage Japanese ice crusher. I always wanted one... perfect for the long summer.

PS: my friend Fabienen sent me this really good recipe for a summer salad: Watermelon cubed, feta, walnuts and olive oil. So simple but really yum and healthy.

Summer is in full swing. This weekend we have our first official heatwave of the year. Make sure you all stay cool and take it easy. Off to the shop to get some more ice cream, water and watermelons.

Celebrating the start of our long summer break at Droog today. Always nice when friends come to visted Amsterdam. My friend Rikke and her family came to visit. They love Amsterdam and rented a houseboat. That's a nice way staying in town.

At the Rijksmuseum is a really nice Alexander Calder exhibition in the moment. Most of it you can visit for free in the garden of the museum. I have been there a couple of times already.

Noordermarkt

I had not been to the Noordermarkt for a little while. This Monday morning I finally had the change to visit the market again. It was a pleasant surprise to see that the offer on vintage clothing is really good there in the moment. So if you are looking for some cool and not too expensive vintage clothes... that's the place to be on Monday morning.
