birthday weekend

 

We spent last weekend in and around Hamburg. Beach and city, my fav combination.

 

A little bit of vintage hunting and some coffee with good and longtime friends. There was lots of cake, must say there is some amazing baking going on in Germany.

 

It was also my birthday so I was lucky and got some amazing gifts.

little winter walk

Life is sweet and busy here but there is always time for a little walk with my girl friend. This time of year Amsterdam is more quiet. Most tourists arrive when spring starts.

End of the week we have half term holidays. So looking forward having a little family break.

Design Icons

Here are some photos from last weekend from Design Icons in Amsterdam. I must say there where some amazing pieces of vintage. I feld a bit like in a candy store.

Mister Kay got me an early birthday gift. An Arka lounge chair from Yngve Ekström (see photo below). Sure we will be back there next year.

I love my days alone at home, when Nila is at school and Mister Kay in the office. The house is quiet and I have a spare moment at home... heaven!

This week we started to work in the garden after a long winter break. Spring is on its way and there is some work to do... really enjoyed being back there.
