total freedom
Finally the rain stoped but the garden is still very wet. We missed being outside, checking the local news for weather reports daily. Enjoying having coffee outside and we managed to pick a holiday destination. A nice house outside Copenhagen close to the beach and some days in Hamburg. Looking forward to our roadtrip and to visit some of our friends on the way.
Enjoy your week,
Kay

Hamburg
A couple of weeks ago I made a little trip to Hamburg with my friend Ingeborg. It was my first trip without my family for a long time . And I must say I had a great time. But then Hamburg is such a beautiful city and I had great company.
There is a lovely market twice a week which is called Isemarkt. It's a must-visit if you like good food, handmade goodies and flowers.
I will be back there in August, this time with the family.
Enjoy,
Kay
PS: New music in the house. Hebron Gate by Groundation.

fine little weekend
We had a fine little weekend. The weekend started with a garden party for my book club. It was lovely. Lots of coffee, good food and talking about books.
Also we visited the beach a couple of times this week. And there was a trip to my fav garden center which is very close to the beach.
see you soon,
Kay
PS:
There is new music in the house Florence + the machine.
Also I started a new book The Husband 's secret by Liane Moriarty.
