I found this really nice summer photo from our living room. It made me happy. We had lots of grey days here...

This year I try to be organised for Christmas. Got the tree, made a shopping list. Now we just need some snow and  mince pies.

Sinterklaas a fine dutch tradition

It's a really stormy night, just made it home in time. We have been eating pepernoten (spicy biscuits) for weeks now (far to many, lol).  Nila is hoping  and waiting for a nice gift.

Christmas tree

Our Christmas tradition is to get the tree after Sinterklaas. Finally  saturday we go tree hunting. To warm up we will make some tasty homemade mulled wine in the afternoon.

Scandinavian Embassy

If  you are in the mood for some really good coffee, talking about food and in need for some slow time the Scandinavian Embassy is the perfect  place to be. The owners, Nicolas (the coffee champion) and Rikard (the foodie), are perfect hosts.

Sure I will be back there soon.
