comfy

There is nothing like staying at home for real comfort - Jane Austen.

After a busy week in the UK, we all came back with a whopping cold... guess it's the time of the year. We should think of taking some extra vitamins.

Hope you all doing well.

see you,
Kay

PS: Managed to find a new autumn had. My little collection is growing.

Julia Arkell, love her work & books.

half term

Hi there,

With half term coming up we are getting ready to go the UK. Not the best timing this time. We are in the middle of giving our kitchen a new look.

This time I'm looking forward to catching up with some sleep, some reading and catching up with the girlfriends.

Look after yourself.

see you  soon,
Kay

PS:  Nila and me are looking forward to visit Choccywoccydoodah.

Steffen Morrison

On Friday  morning I bumped into Steffen Morrison in town. Mister Kay and I love his music, he has a great soul sound.

Really friendly guy and he spontaneously agreed to a little photo shoot. Check out his latest cd or enjoy a song.

fine weekend,
Kay

city life Amsterdam

A couple of days ago I had a long walk in town with one of my really good friends. I just love city walking and I totally fell in love with Amsterdam for some time now... every day I find new thinks there and always find a very friendly person talking to me (that sounds a bit crazy).

Two days ago we started with the kitchen and I must say I did not realise that I had so many vintage kitchen goodies. So it will take me some time to sort it all out...

see you,
Kay

PS: I love browsing through Philuko blog.

Markthal Rotterdam

Rotterdam did it again, the new Markthal is more then amazing. Guess from now on if you visit the Netherlands a trip to Rotterdam should be on your list.

It's a wonderful place. It makes me feel a bit like Alice in Wonderland. It's an apartment block with 230 flats and a large food hall which we will for sure visit again.

Fine weekend to you all,
Kay

PS: A little touch of vintage. When I lived in Milan years ago I spent lots of time at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele... guess I like gallerias.
