vintage at the seaside

Every year I try to visit the Walmer Brocante in Deal, Kent . I always find some nice vintage there and I just love the location at the seaside.

And afterwards we always go for a nice vegetarian breakfast.

At the seaside

We had a little break at the seaside. The weather was amazing, so we spent most of our days drinking coffee at the beach and collecting stones for our garden.

I must say I really missed my record player (yes we did go vintage and vinyl hunting) and also my
multi bullet. When we go on holidays in July I will take them with me, makes life easy.

sunny and calm

As you can see we had a lot of sun here last week. This week is really different (rainy and grey days).

I was lucky to find a pretty yellow West Germany pottery vase at the flea market this weekend. It looks great in our living room.

On Sunday I went with my girl friend to the Yoga festival in Leiden. I must say I really enjoyed it (perfect calm Sunday). Also I started with Yoga lessons again a couple of weeks ago. It's a nice contrast with my running.

Most of our weekends we spent now in the garden. There is still a lot to do but soon we can just sit there, drink coffee and read books...

Have been thinking about chickens the last couple of weeks, not sure if that would work with my cats ???

Flower market

Monday morning there is a small neighbourhood market in the heart of Amsterdam. It's a beautiful market and they got some amazing plants, flower seeds, books, honey and homemade cookies.

I must say I came home with a bag full of plants and seeds and next time I will get some honey.
