The theme of this week's Corner View is 'Staple foods'
here in the Netherlands pepole like pancakes, french fries( pate) and
licorice ( drop)
but I love most the food from the Dutch Antilles and Indonesia ..guess I could eat that also for breakfast,lol
want to know more about world food , have a look at spain daily

I so miss ethnic food! That would be my staple food choice too (thai, mexican, indonesian ...). For now, I have to cook it, but it's not quite the same:(

My sister in law is from Bonaire....I miss her food! But...I wouldn´t mind to have a ´broodje kroket´ right now. ;)

love the big ice cream cone. and the serious man in front. indonesian food for breakfast and pancakes for dinner sounds like a good switch.

pancakes, french fries, licorice...i like them. but indonesian food sounds also very good...but i don't know exactly how the indonesian food is. wish you a happy week*
it reminds me a trip to Singopre and Indonesia few years ago ... the nasi goreng was great and the exotic fruits so delicious !!
pancakes, i can go with that. i make that a lot for the boys, asit can be made to be a pretty healthy afternoon snack (just a bit of vanilla sugar and made with whole wheat flour).
but i agree, indoneasian food is great!

when i was in thailand i ate it for breakfast. here in holland i love my brown bread with cheese but i still have a craving for the noodle breakfast :)
