The simple pleasures in life certainly are the richest! What a fantastic record player, we have a record collection and find ourselves only listening to records! Your bread looks lovely : ) What an incredible place to meet your husband! My husband and I celebrated eleven years yesterday!

I love your list of simple pleasures...they really are the best things in life.
I had a simple weekend too, eating, spending time with friends and gardening

Your post is alive...with the sound of music, and the beauty resonates from the simple pleasures that you found:)
You inspire me to look for a recipe for brown rice bread or some other healthy loaf.
This weekend we went to a local arts festival there were wonderful simple toys to try, making things spin and juggling with very simple things. I loved it, and the reminder of how little is needed to find joy...
Happy to hear you are celebrating.

a kite festival - awesome! we were just bemoaning the fact that we haven't flown our kite yet here in Germany (and that it's a free activity to boot!). it's a little basic one we bought on our 1yr anniversary. gonna have to go do that.

I love it also to go for a walk, bake bread and read - and of course to do some handcrafts ;-)
not only at the weekend...
Your record player is fantastic and your dough looks delicious.
