ha-ppy halloween

Tell me about your Halloween plans. Halloween is finally getting more popular in the Netherlands. People start to decorate there homes and start hosting parties, which is wonderful.

Want to know how to cross stitch on a pumpkin?
have a good Halloween weekend

see you soon

Too bad, it's one American tradition I can totally do without. I can't stand the obsession with death everywhere, headstones in people's front yards, skeletons and all that. People go to extremes to be gorier than thou. It's also an extremely dangerous time for children--there have been so many incidents of abduction, poisoning and other harm to children that neighborhood trick-or-treating has declined precipitously since I was a kid. I prefer to focus on meaningful holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas.

It's popular in Denmark too, but no Haloween plans in our family. Enjoy your Sunday.

....and to you too Kay - and your family.

We are a little bit under whelmed this year after just getting back from a weekend away and the littlest Boo's birthday is tomorrow.

Happy Halloween,

I think it is horrible it is catching on. I would hate to see Sint Maarten or Driekoningen been replaced by halloween. Such a shame the globalisation of local traditions...
