summer in the city

Sometimes I'm not sure where I would rather be. In my garden or in the city. Amsterdam in the summer is amazing... and there is always so much to do.

Could you live on a houseboat?

Kay

PS: I went to the movies yesterday to see 'Salmon fishing in the Yemen'. Wonderful movie. I would call it a must-see.

PPS: the dolls from Lammers and Lammers you can get  at  MasionNL and   store without a home

Love the photo of the girl on the pink bike & the Lammers & Lammers porcelain dolls in the shopwindow.
I could live on a houseboat but only in springtime when the water isn't freezing or smelly...

I don't think so, unless it was the only option, and I don't know why that would be. It seems to be something one would do quite intentionally. I'm not a fan of water, but the canals in Holland are amazing. Did the skating happen? I got the idea it didn't get quite cold enough? <3 your blog!

Yeah! I know what you mean...but your garden should be a perfect place too, just to sit and read, and enjoy a good coffee
