I saw these funny and pretty birthday candle holders the fist time at Pfefferminza.
They are not easy to find here but last summer I was lucky to find some vintage ones at the flea market in Germany. Not sure if they got a name but they also look nice on the wall.

Geburtstagskranz. Ich habe noch den aus meinen Kleinkindertagen. Heute bekommt Paul ihn auf den Tisch gestellt.
Deine Verwendung dafür finde ich allerdings aus sehr schön!
Sollte ich einen/mehrere finden, kaufe ich sie für Dich.

You blog is wonderful and I often visit. I lived in the UK for years and do miss it. But onto my point, I loooove Cold Feet as well, and I have them on DVD but you know I have never actually watched the one where Helen has her crash. I just simply cannot do physically press that "play" button.
