Friday again

After  I have been to the bakery this morning I came home with some Pepernoten. And now I can't stop eating them. Lucky me we can only get them here for a short time.

Burda Style

 He is back, my fav paper star.

Got him last year at Durf in Haarlem.

There is a new winter magazine out from Burda. It's called:

• Burda Style Deco in the UK, 
• Burda Kreativ in Germany, 
• Burda Decoratief in Holland.

Pottering around the house, managed to send of my first Christmas parcel to my family and friends in the States.They should get them in time this year.

Decluttering

Over the weekend  I started to change the living room. I wanted to create some more space, declutter and make our home cozy for the winter time. Still lots more to do. How often do you declutter?

Tonight we are watching The Bridge.
We're both crazy about Scandinavian crime stories.

Every year we make paper stars on a Sunday afternoon  in November.

I've tried making paper stars but I'm not very good at them... My stars aren't as perfect as

The news that Kofi Annan is coming to town made my day. Let's hope I will get tickets.

I changed my living room deco a little bit... Blue is still going strong in our home.

Have been looking at my Christmas shopping list (yes I got a list).

I wonder who is making gifts this year?? Personally I'm a fan of homemade gifts.

Blue Christmas

If I would live in the States my fav holiday would be Thanksgiving (dreaming of Pumpkin pies).

For now we live in the Netherlands so my fav holidays is Christmas, especially the weeks before Christmas. Really enjoy decorating our home, the parties and gift shopping for special people.

We had a little Christmas photo shoot last weekend. The color blue is the color of 2012 so I'm bringing some blue back in my decoration for the winter time.

There is a beautiful small shop in Amsterdam called Bon Bon Boutique. They sell an eclectic mix of jewelry, bags, cards and prints all under one roof. They sell so many lovely things that are very heard to resist.

After jogging this morning I started to pack a vintage collection for the Sunday market. It will be my last one for this year, having a winterbreak.

Sometimes it is not easy to part with some of my vintage but I don't want my home to be too full.

 

At the moment: 

• Love the work from LS Lowry, thinking of  getting one of his prints.
• Wearing Essie berry naughty nail polish,perfect November color.
• Got some Christmas decoration at the Hema. Have some nicet deco ideas for the Christmas time (guess I'm a bit early).
• Have to go to the dentist in the morning (not my fav).
