flowerpower

I wanted some more color for the house...
so I got some spring  flowers and  Hyacinth bulbs

Vintage  German teacups decorated with 24k gold leaf.
Cone shaped cup on a pedestal, from around the 50s.

My week started well:

  • nice lunch with a friend
  • started to exercise together with a friend (it's hard to let a friend down if you feel like skipping a class)
  • finally got my Lunar Phase Calender
  • blog of the week the seventy  tree
  • looking for a holiday cottage in Brighton

Tell me about your week

Kay

My week started with work :-(.
Love the cups - a friend of mine has her own litte collection. I am always starring at them like a little kid when I am at her place.

I have 2 days off. Hope to get out for a walk with a friend. Visit fleamarket. Take my cats and visit my parents (more space to run).
No spring in sight here; it's snowing again.

My bulbs from holland are growing strong...hahaha...so they are a great remind of the days there.
Love your flowers for home!
Can I go to Brighton as a cooker?

Those cups are gorgeous - are they yours? I love amaryllis bulbs - beautiful flowers :) It's really warm and sunny here now, although freezing (literally) earlier - just had lunch outside :) Have a good day, Abby x

Beautiful teacups (and flowers!)... they remind me of my oma's! Did you get one? I started exercising this morning too but by myself... it probably won't last! ;) Great calendar and very cool website!

Oooh, thanks for mentioning me, how lovely! My week has been hectic...running around after my very nearly one year old, who is obsessed with the kitchen cupboards and fridge! I need an extra pair of eyes!

The spring flowers look great, Kay. And I love the "Sammeltassen", so nice...No sign of spring here yet. Tomorrow more snow and cold on the way...

Glad to hear you are thinking of spring already Kay, I can imagine there are so many beautiful flowers available in the Netherlands. I had a wonderful day today at a huge new parkland/ playground at a beach 15minutes drive from my home. I took my son & daughter & met up with my parents & my nephew, along with 7 dear longtime friends of our family. It was so beautiful swimming in the surf, especially watching my 4th old daughter frolicking in the waves.
