stylish

my fav plastic design is the Ericofone, the look is so 60s but it is designed in the early 50s by H.G. Thames for the Swedish company Ericsson.

Sod the 'smaller', 'lighter', 'sleeker' approach to modern telephony. That there is the phone for me.

(The happiest of 2010's to you and yours!). x

My grandparents had one when I was little. I remember the heavy feeling when using it. Masterpiece.

Oh! How GOOD is the base of this phone! My GOD! and look, lets face it, I'd want one just so I could say (when it rings) "oh, hold on a moment darling, the 'Ericofone' is ringing". And I'd scoot off with martini in hand, and have stylish conversations for hours on end. Anything is possible in life with an Ericofone! LOVE it! and (clearly) that name does something for me too! Have fun Kay- love your blog - as usual!

Hi Kay,

thanks for your comment. I have bought the "fliegenpilze" all over the world, but most of them are from danmark. Since I was a child I am collecting them and I still love them.

I love your pictures and your stile. Do you know this shops:

https://threepotatofourshop.com/ (usa)

http://www.frou-frou.dk/ (danmark)

http://www.harryandsally.de/ (mine ;-)

They might be something for you.

And through your blog I find a new one - the wood wool stool! Great shop!

Happy new year from Sally
