West German ceramics is one thing I DO collect. I only have about 5, but well, that's more of one thing than anything else - soooooo this post is just perfect! So much fun to be had isn't there?! Your brother's rad! :)
I love pottery but have focused on that made here in Ohio (and a few Colorado pieces here and there). I yearn for a Rook from Rookwood pottery. Anyhow, I love this pottery, especially the orange and black one. Haven't ever seen any West German pottery around here, however, so will have to dream.
I am also slightly obsessed with West German Pottery. My tiny little terrace is pretty much bursting at the seams! Lots and lots of pics of them on my own blog if you're interested. Unfortunately, I'm rubbish at taking photos (unlike you!) but you'll get the idea! Another really good website for West German pottery is the Pottery and Glass forum. There are literally thousands of pictures to drool over on there! Emma x

I remember those from a long time ..... my mother have some ;)
love your vases, i like to collect them too. A beautiful vase with flowers gives me a superkick :-)
my vase collection is getting far too big - seems we are sharing the same bug here! :)
i love how you dare to contrast the colouring of the vase and the flowers, i've never thought of that...
Jap, definitely cool! Those were the times, when you read "made in West Germany"...=)
I loke these! God! I need to invest in some vases... I literally have one - everything else ends up in jugs and pint glasses - ridiculous...
