Concertgebouw Cafe

I don't have a single favorite cafe (I travel a lot).
However I have a couple of cafes I really love,
The Concertgebouw Cafe is one of them.

They have an amazing atmosphere,
friendly staff, good food and great coffee.

see you,
Kay

PS: I love books, so I wonder does anybody have experience with a Kindle reader?

Wow. Love the blown glass chandeliers! I love books, too; and I have a Kindle. It works just fine, but I must say I still find myself gravitating to "old-fashioned" paper... haven't been able to wean myself from the tactile comfort and heft of a 'real' book. I expect to get there eventually, though; especially if publishers forsake paper. :)

Looks like a great atmosphere in that Cafe...I have no experience with a Kindle or Nook, but I know I will never own either one of them. I still like going to the bookstores and libraries to browse, select my books, and have the feel of turning the pages. These electronic readers don't do it for me, sorry.

Hello Kay

I have a Kindle that I bought from my friend. He got it free with a new mobile phoen and didn't use it. They take a bit od getting used to, and I still read and buy paperbacks, but they are good. The are especially practical when you go travelling; I oftern take 6-8 books on holiday and they can be really heavy. So this year I downloaded the books I wanted to read on to my Kindle, and then that was all I had to carry. My rucksack was much lighter. See if you can borrow one from a friend to fine if you like them, and then try and pick one up second hand. You can find them on ebay from £40-50. Happy reading, from Tessa in Brighton :)
