ice skating

This week most of the dutch people are hoping for a natural ice skating marathon which is called  "Eleven Cities Tour". The last one was 15 years ago. At the moment the ice is still too weak (fingers crossed).

Keep warm and enjoy your week

Kay

PS:  started watching Surface (a good one)

...loved the canals when we were in Holland. I didn't realize how much a part of life they are until I saw them in use. We are having unusual warm winter in Wisconsin, the ice on the bay is thin, and people have to be rescued when the wind picks up and a four inch crack turns into forty feet.

That's great! I hope for you and my dutch friends that the ice is soon enough strong! I love natural ice and I am still hoping, that one of our swiss lakes are gonna freeze this winter.
