collector-itis

vintage clogs, guess you can still find them at the flea market

Sombody gave me some high voltage insulators
and now they're everywhere.
It's collector-itis ,
be careful it`s very contagious.

What  (if anything) do you collect?

O yes those glass insulators are very collectible now!
Apparently I collect desk lamps, I have 5 vintage ones and I can't stop looking for more! I also collect Rie Cramer books and stuff like plates and 2 framed drawings.
And ofcourse I collect pebbles and seashells at the beach.
And buttons, I have heaps of buttons.
I think to be honest I collect collections :)!

I used to collect a lot of stuff for many years, till I moved, it took me many months to downsize. Now in this smaller home I have to be very selective what I collect, space is very limited, so a little milkglass and a few other things, that's it...

.... oh, and no, I don't actually collect anything. I seem to become more and more minimalist through the years, but I do so love beautiful things...

I don't think that I collect anything. But, I love to buy new plants for our garden, and nice stuff for our home.

For years my dad had a collection of over 100 glass insulators. My mom hated it. I thought it rocked. I think he still has them....just hidden in boxes.

my grandmother had some insulators, apparently they change color as they age

i picked up a few and thought i might continue the tradition, until we had a reason to travel through one of the less-travelled highways in illinois, which was lined with miles of utility poles, each one encrusted with old glass insulators--there must have been millions
